The Process of Getting Your NIN
How ToEnroll
In line with its mission, Bobsak Consult Ltd, in partnership with Bobsak LLC, has been granted the responsibility to process Nigerians in the Diaspora, who desire to register for the acquisition of the National Identification Number (NIN) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) is the official regulatory Agency for issues of national identity in Nigeria.
Nigerians in the United State now have the opportunity to enrol for their NIN by visiting our locations across the country. Additionally, Bobsak introduced the
Cluster Service for the convenience of citizens, who might not be able to visit our fixed locations across the United States. Please visit Cluster Services on this site for more information.
PreEnrollment
Fill the Pre Enrolment form to convey your desire to subscribe. The proper completion of the form will enhance our ability to serve you better. This is particularly important for the management of the Cluster Service of Bobsak. All the mandatory fields must be completely filled with correct information. Print your Pre Enrolment Slip with 2D bar code upon completion, as it will be required at our Enrolment Center.
Biometric Capture
Visit our office for your biometric capture. Subscribers who opt to use our Cluster Service will have their biometrics captured at the agreed cluster locations.
Fees
Enrollment fee for applicants above 16 years of age is $50, while applicants that are below 16 years is $40. Payments as appropriate should be made by bank transfer to the account of the company as follows:
Supporting Documents
On the day please bring along originals of any supporting documents for verification by an Enrolment Officer. The enrolment officer will also review the information you submitted during pre-enrolment or obtain your demographic data if you did not pre-enrol ealier. the Enrolment Officer will scan your original supporting documents before proceeding to capture biometric data.
NIN Issuance
Once you have completed the biometric capture process you will receive a ‘Transaction ID Slip’ as confirmation. You may recieve your NIN slip immediately, subject to prompt issuance by NIMC headquarters, or at a later date by mail. Subscribers should please bring along a self-addressed envelope for this purpose. Please keep your ‘Transaction ID Slip’ and store it in a safe place, as it will be required if your need to collect your ‘NIN Slip'.
It is advised that individuals with additional requirements that need the help of a third party to complete the process are accompanied by a trusted friend or family member that can assist them.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. At least one of the parent or legal guardian must have a NIN.
Please note that your Transaction Slip is NOT the same as your ‘NIN Slip’. The ‘NIN slip’ contains your unique National Identification Number. Keep it safe and secure.
