No. Pre-registered subscribers without BVN are to be processed for a complete a NIN registration.
National Identity numbers are issued by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) and returned electronically to the licensee for onward delivery to the subscribers.

  • Nigerian International Passport
  • Nigerian Birth Certificate
  • Birthday certificate of country of birth accompanied by Nigerian international passport of parents.

Minors (under 18)

  • Minors are supposed to come with valid NIN of parent
  • They must come with names of parent.

  • Register for a Voters Card and the freedom to vote as a franchised Nigerian citizen.

  • Register for a driver’s licence as a Nigerian.
  • Open a Nigerian bank account or reactivate a dormant account.
  • Carry out consular services for Nigerian embassies and missions abroad.
